Flip & Heat Microwave Basket

Say goodbye to the microwave-hot-dish shuffle! In this beginner-friendly sewing class, you’ll make handy Flip & Heat Microwave Baskets that help you lift warm bowls and containers with confidence. The pattern includes three useful sizes—perfect for leftovers, soup bowls, square or round glass dishes, and even a larger basket that doubles as a cute breadbasket. They fold flat for easy storage, are Fat Quarter friendly, and make a fun, practical project you’ll want to use every day.

As usual, we will provide a sewing machine to use for this class.

Finished sizes: small 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2, medium 6 x 6 x 2-1/4, and large 7-1/2 x 7-1/2 x 3-1/2.

Materials Needed:

• Flip & Heat Microwave Basket Pattern (Available at Schillers for $15.00)
• Fabric for size basket you wish to make, our sample is the Medium
• Thread to match
• Batting
