This Best of Show quilt is made using by repeating one block!In this class we explore color and value and how using those two tools can create a dramatic quilt with a single block.The primary background fabric is from one piece of ombre yardage. Students learn how to cut dark, medium and light values from the fabric in a specific manner to speed up the time to make this quilt while simultaneously creating drama and interest. The pops of color come from scrap fabrics.If you know how to paper piece, or want to brush up on your paper piecing skills, this class is for you! You’ll learn some paper piecing hacks and leave class feeling confident in paper piecing skills and color placement.
